About

We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization located in Charleston, WV. We are members of the USA Track & Field and Amaetur Athletic Union. The organizations are the national governing bodies of track and field. As a result of being a member of USATF and AAU, the Capita City Striders is a competitive level club.

The Intent of this program is to provide proper training for track & field events, engage in competition with other USATF & AAU clubs and to have fun! Athletes gain valuable educational, social, and travel experiences, while developing confidence and respect for themselves and others.

New Memberships are always accepted during the year. Membership forms can be found under the Registration Tab above. Don't forget a copy of your birth certificate along with your membership fee when returning your registration form. Membership Includes AAU Membership and USATF Membership. Memberships run September through August for AAU and September through December for USATF.

Masters Level

Master Athletes are welcome to join Capital City Striders and compete in Track and Field: Running, Long Distance Running, and/or Racewalking. Information on opportunities for Masters may be found at http://www.wvmasters.com
